| The 2004 IronDog 2000 starting line in Fairbanks on February 16, 2004. It was a beautiful day on the Tanana River, the temperature was about 20 below for the start of the world's longest snowmobile race. Each team of two drivers and sleds left the starting area a few minutes apart on their way to Nome and then to the finish in Wasilla. The race was won for the first time by a team racing Ski-Doos. |
